Welcome to my blog. I document my reading with reviews for kids and grown ups. Hope you have a nice stay!

What books did you acquire (inbox) and finish (outbox) this week?

INBOX (Books Acquired)

The Peculiar Incident on Shady Street

Tessa moves from Florida to Chicago to a haunted house in this middle-grade spooky novel. I'm excited to read this one.

Ali and his family survived bombings, food shortages, and constant fear. Timely, this is the story of one ordinary kid’s view of life during war.

The Way DownTown is a picture book that explains how public transportation works while showcasing different people who use it.

OUT BOX (Books read this week)

Bush Man Lives!

This wins for quirkiest book read so far this year.

Greek Myths

This won't be out until September. It's a great version of three classic tales.

I'm sorting

my thoughts out on this one. I will say that all American high school students would benefit from the discussion within. I'll review it over on Goodreads in the next few days.
