On The Nightstand

I haven't written an On the Nightstand post in forever, not since the old, old blog if I remember correctly. I'm looking forward to logging our reads here for posterity. At least this way I'll be able to search by name.  :) And this is prettier than Goodreads.

Everything from Moth man to haunted hotel rooms. The Fright-o-meter rates each story for its level of scariness and they range from amusing to super scary. It is a good primer for all things supernatural.

It's October

and that means reading about the wizarding world. We love these illustrated editions of the Harry Potter series. We're reading at lunch and bedtime lately cruising through this one.

Geeks Read

Grammar texts. At this stage I don't read TM from cover to cover anymore- this is an exception. I also don't usually talk about curriculum until I've finished it. This is brand new and we are on week 4, I love it. I wish it would have been ready years ago- but luckily I have plenty of time to get through it with my caboose kid.

In the car

We're listening to this again because it's just that entertaining. I'm reading book 3 and I'm loving being both parts of the story at once.
